Was Fermin interested by the nutritional advantages of wines (resveratrol et al)?
Yes but only when hand-made in old "barricas".
On the opposite, Sandra & Chloé preferred industrial quantities...

Technical meeting of the network at the 5th International Conference on Polyphenols and Health
In parallel with sessions of the 5th International Conference on
Polyphenols and Health, organized by Dr. Cristina Andres-Lacueva and
colleagues on 17-20October 2011.
The talks were of High quality and very highly appreciated. One was given by an ex-young speaker of previous CTP meeting, namely Noemie Boqué, who presented: "Nutrigenomic and epigenetic study of apple polyphenolic extract supplementation in diet-induced obesity rats"
Various posters were presented by members of the CTP mini-red. It is possible to have their title at the congress website: www.icph2011barcelona.com

However, being in congress in Sitges without sunglasses was not acceptable ...
Theefore you can perhaps (?) not recognize several attendants who wear such sunglasses around the site of the congress, nearby the Mediteranean sea, the origin of the famous diet having the same name.
... somewhat like a return to the origins...

To avoid a certain reputation of Sitges beach...
The guys participating to the congress also brought their sunglasses... and stayed very close from the beautiful girls...

To the success of joint meetings
Most of the french and spanish students working in the labs of the "Obesitydiabetesinctp" network attended to both the CTP meeting and the international congress. It was also the case for students of the Nutrition masters of the Pamplona and Bordeaux universities
was added the success of international coffee break(s)
English, Spanish and French languages were mixed during the social events...
